Police are investigating a burglary that occurred last night in Southport.
Around 9.50pm, three men have forced entry into an Anne Street unit, one armed with a firearm, and have made demands for cash and property.
During the burglary, a woman in her 50s was assaulted and received minor injuries to her face.
The three men have then left the unit with a quantity of property and were last seen running onto Nyora Street.
The three men were all seen wearing hooded jumpers pulled over their faces.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
