On March 30 Police from Pacific Pines attended a local address in relation to a fail to appear warrant inquiry.
On approach to the dwelling Police heard the distinct sound of a taser being sparked numerous times, tactically withdrew and requested additional crews.
Police then entered the dwelling and located the 39-year-old man in possession of a taser disguised as an iPhone. Police also located property which they will allege is stolen. The man was arrested and will appear in Southport Magistrates Court next month.
