Police from the Norfolk Village Beat seek public assistance in the identification of a man who they believe can assist with their investigations into a public nuisance offence at the Norfolk Village Shops in Ormeau.

At about 9.35am on Saturday April 18, a man attended a store with a female and small child and sat down to eat food bought from another store. After being advised that tables were reserved for customers, the man became abusive towards staff using obscene language in front of other members of the public. The man has then thrown his food at the front window of the store and then aggressively thrown a chair at the store window. This threatening conduct in a public place has upset staff and customers.

The male is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance with short black hair. He was wearing a white basketball singlet with ‘ROBINSON 50′ on the front and back, dark coloured shorts and sunglasses.

If any person has information regarding the identity of this man please contact Police at the Norfolk Village Beat on 5549 3099 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000.

Police report reference: QP1500599802.
