Palm Beach Cadets with Senior Constable Kurt Foessel
Several dignitaries and community members attended the ANZAC Ceremony at the Palm Beach Currumbin High School today.
As the Adopt-a-Cop I was very proud to see the respect and honour given to this ceremony from the youngest students to the outstanding school captains.
Joshua Compain, son of Senior Constable Glen Compain, performed an inspiring version of the New Zealand national anthem. The school Cadet Corps took part in the service which included the playing of the Last Post, along with a very moving musical item ‘The New ANZAC’S’ performed by the Palm Beach Currumbin Orchestra.
The school also put together an amazing poster which is a collage of cenotaphs throughout Australia and New Zealand, with the proceeds going to Legacy.
The community and school should be very proud of the ANZAC ceremony held today.
