A man has been injured following an incident on the Nerang River this morning.
Around 10.30am, a man who was travelling on a jet ski came off the craft and was struck by another vessel.
A 23-year-old Carrara man sustained life threatening head injuries and was transported to Gold Coast Hospital for treatment.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
