Detectives from Taskforce Latro have charged a 16-year-old boy in relation to a number of offences committed at a Coomera College in June and July this year.  During the night of June 19, it will be alleged the boy unlawfully trespassed at the college, gaining entry to the swimming pool area, where more than $8,500 in damage was caused and property stolen.

On the evening of July 18 another offence occurred at the college and it will be alleged the boy entered the grounds and broke into the canteen, where further property was stolen.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with one count of enter premises and commit indictable offence, two counts of wilful damage, and two counts of stealing.

He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
