Police investigating a traffic crash that occurred at Palm Beach yesterday afternoon are appealing for witnesses.
At around 1:20pm a single vehicle traffic accident occurred on the Gold Coast Highway at Palm Beach.
The female driver and sole occupant, a 44-year-old Palm Beach woman, was transported to the Palm Beach Police Station where she underwent a breath test.
Police will allege that at the relevant time the driver’s alcohol concentration was 0.309 grams of alcohol per 210L of breath, more than six times the legal limit.
Police would like to talk to anyone who may have witnessed the crash.
The driver was issued with a notice to appear before the Coolangatta Magistrates Court on 19 October 2015 in relation to a drink driving matter.
