Police have been pleased with the thousands of schoolies celebrating on the Gold Coast this week.
The biggest annual proactive policing operation for the South East Region has seen police patrolling the glitter strip and engaging schoolies in a positive manner with very few enforcement concerns.
Acting Commissioner Brett Pointing and South East Region Assistant Commissioner Brian Codd attended the evening briefing for staff at the Surfers Paradise Police Station on Wednesday night, thanking officers for their contribution to Gold Coast Schoolies.
