A boy has been arrested in relation to a traffic crash at Pacific Pines last night.
It is alleged around 8.30pm the boy lost control of the car in Pacific Parade crashing through a fence and hitting the patio of a house.
The driver and his 16-year-old male passenger allegedly fled the car and were detained by neighbours nearby.
A 16-year-old boy has been given a notice to appear in relation to dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle, not displaying L plates, fail to stop at the scene of a crash and driving without the proper licence (Learner driver).
He will be dealt with under the provisions of the youth Justice Act. .
