Police are investigating after a serious traffic crash in Mudgeeraba this morning.
It is believed around 10am, a car travelling south along Mudgeeraba Road crossed onto the incorrect side of the road for unknown reasons near the intersection with Scullin Street and collided with another car.
A 75-year-old local was transported to Gold Coast Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 57-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman, both also from Mudgeeraba, were transported to Gold Coast Hospital for treatment of various non-life-threatening injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
