Gold Coast Detectives have charged a man following an alleged assault and robbery in Southport on Wednesday.
It will be alleged at around midnight two men assaulted and robbed two other men outside a licensed venue on Scarborough Street.
A 26-year-old man from Labrador voluntarily attended Southport Police Station yesterday afternoon and has been charged with one count of armed robbery and two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court today.
Investigations are continuing.
