Jacobs Well Police event had the youth scampering up the walls at Game Over Helensvale once again.
We had a couple of new comers to the event and a couple who were very apprehensive of climbing. By the time it was over, all the youth were trying out every single wall with no fear.
With one youth, Jacobs Well Officers kept on encouraging him and told him he was not allowed to give up. It was great to see his progress from two steps up then down to well over halfway. At the end he was even pushing himself off and landing on his feet.
Jacobs Well Police with the support of local businesses and the Jacobs Well and Progress Association will be recommencing these youth events in February 2016, including establishing a youth committee.
