On Monday Senior Constable Trent Keavney from the Arundel Police beat attended the Kirrawe Indigenous Corporation’ Christmas Party hosted in Norm Rix Park, Labrador.
The event was a success with about 40 kids attending and appearances from the Coomera Rural Fire Service, Queensland Police, Under 21 Titans representatives and a special appearance from Santa Clause making entry with lights and sirens aboard a fire truck.
A highlight of the day was the kids performing with digeridoos and performing the Australian National Anthem in native tongue. Santa handed out gifts to all the kids that attended.
