A 27-year-old Eagleby man was charged yesterday with possessing child exploitation material following an investigation by Detectives from the Gold Coast Child Protection and Investigation Unit.
The investigation included the execution of a search warrant during which a number of items including mobile phones, computers and other software were seized.
A small amount of cannabis and things used in the administration of dangerous drugs was also located and seized.
The man was charged with one count of possess child exploitation material, one count of possess dangerous drug, one count of possess thing used in the commission of a crime and one count of possess thing used in the administration of a dangerous drug.
He is scheduled to appear before the Southport Magistrates Court today.
