Jacobs Well Police would like to thank the community for providing information on drugs being sold within the area as it has led to a local man being charged.

As a result of receiving the information, police executed a search warrant on February 26 at a Jacobs Well address during which amphetamines, drug utensils and ammunition was located and seized. A 56-year-old man has been charged for these offences and is to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on March 14.

Recently, Crime Stoppers Queensland launched the Dob in a Dealer campaign encouraging members of the public to report any information about those manufacturing and distributing crystal methylamphetamine (‘ICE’) and other illicit drugs.

The information you provide can assist police with identifying and taking action against people dealing drugs. Police encourage anyone with information to report it through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
