Police have charged a man following an assault that occurred in Currumbin Waters last night.
Around 11.30pm, police were called to an address on Bronhill Street following reports that a man had been stabbed.
On arrival, a 30-year-old man was located with a knife wound to his abdomen.
He was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment and his injures are believed to be non-life-threatening.
A man was taken into custody a short time later.
A 24-year-old Varsity Lakes man has been charged with one count of wounding and is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today.
