Police are appealing for information regarding a robbery in Southport on Saturday and have released CCTV vision of the alleged incident.
Around 2:40am a man entered the Marine Parade service station making threats and demands.
The employee complied with his demands and the man fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes. He was last seen heading towards Little Norman Street.
The 29-year-old male employee was not physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his mid-late 20s with short blonde hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a grey singlet and red shorts.
Investigations are continuing.
