Police are appealing for public assistance following the armed robbery of a man in Miami overnight.
Initial investigations suggest at around 11.45pm a man approached a pizza delivery driver in the front yard of a Gold Coast Highway address, threatening him with knife and demanding money and mobile phone.
The delivery driver complied with the man’s demands, who then fled the scene on foot.
The 24-year-old male employee was not physically injured during the incident.
Police attended and conducted patrols of the area but were unable to locate the man.
He is described as approximately 180cm tall, Caucasian, brown eyes wearing a light blue coloured hoodie, long pants with black and white runners.
Investigations are continuing.
