Mudgeeraba Police Division’s newest Neighbourhood Watch launched on Saturday at Davenport Park, Bonogin.
Residents have banded together to create the Neighbourhood Watch due to recent break-ins in the locality.
Prior to the formation, excellent communication with residents lead to information being passed to police that resulted in the apprehension of an offender for a number of break-ins in this community.
Present at the launch were Senior Sergeant Anderson, Sergeant Holly James, MP Ros Bates, Councillor Glenn Tozer and members of the new Neighbourhood Watch group.
