Three men are in police custody following a traffic crash involving a suspected stolen car at Robina earlier this morning.
Around 8.20am, police received a report of a car rear-ending another vehicle and flipping onto its roof on Robina Town Centre Drive.
The male occupant of the flipped vehicle fled the scene.
Police searched the area and located a man, believed to be the driver of the flipped vehicle, nearby shortly after the crash.
Further searches of the area located two other men, believed to be associated with the driver, acting suspiciously in another vehicle. They were also taken into custody.
Police are also seeking to locate a woman who was also believed to be with the men.
All three men are presently assisting police with their investigations into the crash and the armed robbery of a service station at Loganholme in the early hours of this morning.
Investigations are continuing.
