Police have recommenced their search this morning for missing a Southport man.
The 76-year-old man was reported missing from a Bauer Street care facility around 11am yesterday.
Police hold concerns for his safety as he has several serious medical conditions.
He is described as 178cm tall, average build (97kg) with grey hair and Caucasian in appearance.
He was last seen wearing a green, short sleeved shirt and black track suit pants.
Residents are asked to check their yards, carports, sheds and any other relevant areas.
Police and emergency service workers are currently searching the foreshore and suburban parkland areas between Southport and Paradise Point.
If located, he may appear confused or unaware of his surroundings.
