Detectives have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their investigation into a robbery with violence that occurred in Surfers Paradise on November 30.
At around 6:20pm a man entered a convenience store on Aubrey Street and asked for cigarettes from a male staff member.
The man then tried to leave the store without paying, striking the staff member in the face when he attempted to stop the man.
The 26-year-old staff member received bruising to his face during the robbery.
The man (pictured) is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his early 40s, balding with dark hair.
