Police located a burnt out vehicle in Pacific Pines overnight which was stolen during a burglary with violence at a Coomera address on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to the end of Kopps Road, Pacific Pines around 9.20pm after receiving reports of a vehicle fire. The fire was extinguished and a subsequent search located a fire arm and ammunition inside the car.

No one was injured during the incident.

Investigations revealed that the vehicle, a Chrysler sedan, had been stolen from a Gunther Street home on Sunday during a burglary where two men also allegedly assaulted a 30-year-old woman. The woman was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.

Police believe the burglary was a targeted incident and the men were known to the residents.

Investigations are ongoing.
