On Wednesday March 28, Pride House Gold Coast was officially opened in partnership with the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
Pride House has been in planning since August 2017 which saw a large volume of community members, organisations and government agencies come together to formulate what will be showcased as Pride House Gold Coast in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
This is the first Pride House to ever be hosted in the Southern Hemisphere and has received overwhelming support from the community.

Pride House will be premiering two exhibits for the duration of the event namely LGBTI People of the Commonwealth and the Australian LGBTI Sporting Trailblazers both making their Australian debut.
LGBTI Liaison Officers will be in attendance periodically throughout the operation of Pride House to support and assist the community at any time. In keeping with our values, goals and strategic outcomes officers will be available
Pride House is fortunate enough to have two high profile sporting athletes as ambassadors namely Nat Cook and Ji Wallace lending their voices and support. Pride House will function for the duration of the games and will operate from 12pm til late.
Please come along and show your support and meet one of our friendly LGBTI Liaison Officers!
