Public Appeal: Traffic crash, Nerang

Police are appealing to the public for help to identify the driver of a vehicle, which failed to stop after colliding with a pedestrian at Nerang on Monday, July 17, 2018.

Around 4.10pm, a 40-year-old man was walking towards his car, parked at a shopping-centre on Station Road, when he was struck by a green-coloured sedan.

The pedestrian was forced onto the bonnet of the car, before falling to the ground, causing minor leg and hand injuries.

The driver of the car left the scene.

The male-driver is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 30 to 40-years-old, with a clean-shaven face and light brown hair.
