Police are investigating after a man suffered serious injures when he was struck by a vehicle on the Gold Coast this evening.
Emergency services were called to the Gold Coast Highway at Tugun at 9.05pm following reports a man had been struck by a vehicle.
On arrival, a man was located with significant head injuries and was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Police remain on scene and traffic diversions have been set up.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
