On December 17, 2018 police executed a search warrant on the Gold Coast where they seized several war medals in the name of James Russell Bullock, believed to be stolen.
Sadly, police records show that Mr James Russell Bullock has passed away.
Police have contacted the Department of Veterans’ Affairs to help find a next of kin but this was unsuccessful.
Police are seeking assistance from members of the public to help find Mr Bullock’s next of kin in the hope that we can return this very special and valuable property to the family.
Members of the public can contact Senior Constable Redhead via email on rehead.helenl@police.qld.gov.au with information.
For person’s wishing to claim the medals, evidence of ownership will be required.
