Thanks to Grand Motors Toyota for renewing the vehicle sponsorship agreement with Crime Stoppers.
This partnership is supporting the Gold Coast with well needed transport and Crime Stoppers and Queensland Police are out in force assisting the community.
Crime Stoppers conduct safety presentations along with QPS educating the public in personal safety, fraud awareness and how Crime Stoppers works.
Crime Stoppers recently received a grant from Karen Andrews that assisted in funding a BBQ and equipment that is used for events such as the Emergency Services Touch Football fundraiser.
This event has QPS, QFES and QAS playing touch football against each other and all donations go to a needy cause for police that have suffered injury due to work or personal related accidents/incidents.
Crime Stoppers also received a $500 donation from the Palm Beach Currumbin High School Leos after attending their May 14 meeting to conduct a presentation.
This money is very much appreciated and will be used for Crime Stopper resources to assist in education and to promote within the community reporting crime anonymously to support Queensland Police.
The Queensland Police are delighted to have a partnership with Crime Stoppers and our generous community organisations of Grand Motors Toyota, Karen Andrews and PBC Leo’s.
