Between July 6 and 7 the Gold Coast Marathon take place. There were over 7,000 runners challenging themselves in their individual goals to finish the junior dash, 5.7-kilometre, 10-kilometre, four-kilometre (kids), 21-kilometre half marathon or the 42-kilometre marathon runs.
PCYC Gold Coast along with their many dedicated volunteers braved the horrid conditions to support the Gold Coast community by running a water station along Marine Parade.
There was a 4.30am start for some volunteers and everyone pitched in to ensure our community of runners where well hydrated on the journeys.
A huge thank you to our volunteers and our police who worked this event and supported the community.
