Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a Japanese restaurant at Labrador that occurred in the early hours of this morning.
Around 4.30am police were called to a blaze at the Frank Street business.
The fire was contained and extinguished quickly causing moderate damage to the building.
Preliminary investigations indicate a break and enter may have occurred in the premises prior to the fire.
Police will conduct forensic examinations at the scene throughout the day as their investigations continue into the cause of the fire.
