Police are investigating after a man’s body was found washed ashore on the ocean beach on South Stradbroke Island this morning.
The discovery was made around 7.30am on the beach approximately 5km north of the Southport Seaway.
The cause of death and the identity of the deceased have not yet been determined.
Investigations are continuing.
