A 32-year-old Gilston man has been charged after he allegedly damaged property inside a Labrador fast food outlet last night
Around 11.30pm, the man entered the Marine Parade business and after a verbal altercation with a staff member, allegedly damaged a number of cash registers.
It will be further alleged he then left the business, only to return a short time later and proceeded to damage a coffee machine and attempted to damage a glass cabinet.
He left the scene in a car.
He was subsequently located by police and charged with one count of wilful damage and is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today.
