Two men have been charged after the armed robbery of two men at a bus stop in Currumbin last night.
It will be alleged shortly after 9.30pm two men were waiting at a bus stop on Tomewin Street when they were approached by two men in a vehicle.
One of the men allegedly produced a knife and demanded that the victims hand over cash or drugs. The second man then stole property from the pair.
The victims managed to detain one of the men before police arrived at the scene.
The man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The second man was arrested by police later in the night.
A 28-year-old man from Wilsonton Heights and a 27-year-old man from Drayton were both charged with two counts of armed robbery. They are due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court this morning.
