Police are appealing for the occupants of a black Jeep who attempted to intervene when a man was seriously assaulted at Surfers Paradise on Friday April 12 to contact them.
Sometime between 9pm and 11pm the victim was surrounded by four to five men on the Gold Coast Highway near Wharf Road when one offender king hit the man causing him to fall to the ground unconscious.
A 23-year-old local man was transported to the Gold Coast Hospital with serious facial injuries.
