Police have concluded the search for a missing swimmer from Surfers Paradise following the discovery of a man’s body this afternoon.
Just after 2pm, the body of a man was located on South Stradbroke Island, approximately two kilometres north of the seaway.
Water police have attended the island to conduct further investigations.
The body is yet to be formally identified.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
