Police have charged a 35-year-old female with drink driving, unlicensed driving and having an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle.
The female was intercepted by Police on Lae Drive at Runaway Bay on January 23, 2015 around 10.50am. Police discovered that there were three children under the age of ten in the vehicle at the time.
It will be alleged the female was charged in relation to the same offences less than a week prior and as a result her vehicle was immobilised by police for seven days.
The 35-year-old New South Wales woman is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on February 17.
Considering the weather conditions predicted to arrive by the end of the week, police are urging all motorists to abide by the roads rules and take care on the roads. To prevent traffic crashes, leave extra room between you and the vehicle in front and turn your headlights on for all journeys no matter how small.
