I attended Mudgeeraba Rotary on Tuesday night as a guest speaker on the subject of policing in the community.
I spoke on subjects of interest such as graffiti prevention, the importance of early detection and irradication of tags and targeting of repeat offenders. I also talked about diverting at-risk young people to programs such as the Kokoda Challenge.
Also on the agenda was domestic violence investigation processes and the significance of intelligence capabilities to policing in the rise of home grown terrorism.
Rotary President Karen Thomas and myself are pictured here on the night with a certificate acknowledging the financial contribution of Rotary to support the eradication of Polio worldwide. Well done Rotary.
