Police have charged a man after he allegedly made verbal threats against a police officer on Friday March 6.
Around 3.50pm, Police will be alleging that a man telephoned the Nerang Police Station and made a threat of violence towards the officer before terminating the call.
The officer who the alleged threats had been directed at, had previously attended a call for service involving the man days earlier.
A 28-year-old Nerang man has been charged with one count of threats and is due to re-appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Friday May 8.
