
Media interest in seized drugs
QPS Gold Coast Detectives and other state and federal agencies have worked together in the past days to identify and locate serious drug offenders operating in the South East Region. On Saturday night a 50 year old male and his 23 year old female companion where located at Coolangatta Airport in possession of large quantities of MDMA. Investigations identified a third person involved and the 27 year old male person was arrested today after being spotted by State Government Security officers at the Southport Courthouse. Detectives from the Southern Crime Group pointed to the advantages now of interoperable technology and greater communication between agencies in achieving successful results.
