A man and a woman have been charged following an incident at a Worongary residence this afternoon.
Around 2.30pm police were called to the Sevenoaks Court residence following reports of a disturbance involving a firearm. It was established two men and a woman were inside the residence.
A cordon around the residence was established and attempts to communicate with the occupants were unsuccessful.
Around 4.30pm the occupants left the residence and were arrested without further incident.
A 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were both charged with unlawful possession of weapons and ammunition, possess dangerous drugs and possess drug utensils.
The woman was further charged with breach of bail.
Both remain in custody and are due to appear before the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
