Police are appealing to the public for information after a 160-year-old diamond ring may have been stolen from a unit in Surfers Paradise this month.
The family heirloom (pictured) is worth $36,500 with three European cut diamonds in a platinum 18-claw setting.
Initial investigations suggest that it may have been stolen from the Riverview Parade unit between 6pm and 8pm on August 3.
