A man has been charged over the robbery of a convenience store at Broadbeach last Thursday August 27, 2015.
During the robbery it is alleged the lone console operator was grabbed by the front of his jumper at the Gold Coast Highway premises and a sum of cash was stolen from the till.
A 27-year-old man of no fixed place of abode was arrested in Brisbane CBD overnight and has been charged with robbery and enter premises with intent to commit an indicatable offence.
He is expected to face Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
