Detectives from the Gold Coast Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged a teenage boy over the armed robbery of a convenience store at Nerang last month.
It is alleged the Adalong Place store was robbed at knife-point on August 10, 2015.
A teenage girl was arrested at the scene on the day of the robbery and later charged.
Follow up investigations led police to a 15-year-old boy who has been charged with one count of armed robbery.
He was also charged with two counts of entering a vehicle with intent to commit an indictable offence, one count of stealing and one count of unlawful possession of suspected stolen property unrelated to the armed robbery offence.
He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
