Detectives from the Gold Coast Child Protection Investigation Unit have charged man and a boy over an alleged robbery at a convenience store at Burleigh Heads on Friday October 16, 2015.
It is alleged during the robbery the store employee was punched a number of times to the head and a small quantity of stationary was stolen.
A 17-year-old man from Carrara has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm whilst in company and wilful damage.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with robbery and will be dealt with under the Youth Justices Act.
