Constable Alana Davis and Senior Constable Leonie Burridge
Gilston State School have recently hosted a Family Art’s Night in the school’s hall and library.
The event displayed a range of art pieces submitted by the student’s. Performances by the school’s choir and band were also presented.
Constable Alana Davis and Senior Constable Leonie Burridge from Nerang Police Station were invited to participate in the voting process for their favourite piece of art work and to speak with the children and their families engaging in this community event.
Constable Davis said that both officer’s thoroughly enjoyed the displays and musical performances and the children displayed some truly wonderful talent.
Rumour has it that the officer’s contributed significantly to the financial success of the event once they located the sausage sizzle, where apparently they spent a substantial amount of time and money.
