Police are investigating an incident overnight where it is believed a shot was fired into a garage door at a residence in Bundall.
Initial information suggests that around 9.30pm, a female resident of a house in Tiwi Street has heard a loud noise outside and upon inspection has found a hole in one of the house’s garage doors.
Police were called and on arrival they have found what is believed to have been a single shotgun blast has impacted the garage door. A vehicle parked in the garage was also damaged as a result of the shooting.
A crime scene was established and police investigations are continuing.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
