Police are investigating an incident where a woman received a stab wound at a unit at Surfers Paradise early this morning.
Around 5.30am police were called after reports that a man and a woman were involved in a dispute inside an Admiralty Drive unit.
During the dispute the woman was stabbed.
The man left the scene.
The woman has been transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment to her injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
