Police have charged a 39-year-old man after an alleged disturbance in the Isle of Capri (Surfers Paradise) today.
It will be alleged that the man entered an office on Via Roma around 11am making threats and demands. He allegedly attempted to force entry into a secure area then fled on foot when staff confronted him.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man was located a short time later on Bundall Road where he was taken into custody and was charged with one count of public nuisance.
He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on May 5.
