Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Mermaid Waters.
Around 1.30am, a taxi driver has pulled up on Christina Court when two men approached the vehicle.
One of the men has entered the rear of the vehicle and produced a knife which he held up to the man’s neck.
The two men have taken a sum of cash and have left the scene.
The driver wasn’t physically injured during the robbery.
The men were last seen wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
