Police have charged a man following an incident in which two people were allegedly assaulted in Southport early this morning.
Just after midnight three men, who were known to each other, became involved in an argument at an address on William Street.
Police will allege one of the men produced a bladed weapon and assaulted the other two men, cutting each of them on the face.
A 24-year-old Biggera Waters man has been charged with two counts of wounding and is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court this morning.
Two men aged 28 and 23 were transported to Southport Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
